I'm a first-year planning to major in Mathematics (probably the probability and statistics concentration). I came in with AP credit for Calc II and took Calc III this past fall semester. I am signed up for Diff EQ this spring. Do you have any suggestions of what math classes to take and what order to take them in? More specifically, do you have a recommended order for taking MATH 3100, 3310, 3351, 3354? Thank you for any help you can give me!January 2013
Can we still ask you questions about Brown Residential College?
I've got a few questions if you don't mind me asking.
When do we have to vacate for winter recess?
On the housing blog it says that as upperclass housing it doesn't close so does that mean we can stay in there until January?July 2012
hey i was wondering where we pick up keys for brown college. If I decide to move-in on Sunday would they still be in the same place?August 2011
Thanks for the help Hazelorb. I'm looking forward to move-in day and meeting all the "Brownies" who sound like such incredible people.August 2010
Hi Hazelorb, I'm a rising third year transfer and I just found out I'm living in Brown College next year (very excited). It seems that you are the reigning expert on Brown, so I thought I might ask: How is the parking situation? How do we register for permits, etc? Thanks in advance for your help.August 2010
I was wondering too! I´m also transfer student and I'm second on the ladies' list. How good are my chances of actually getting a place?June 2010
Hey, I'm a transfer student who applied to Brown, and I was wondering what the range of available upperclassmen slots is. Could you help me out? Thanks!June 2010
I totally agree. Just wishful thinking I guess.
Hopefully someone replies to my post with other questions about single rooms at McCormick.July 2009
Reading thru the posts regarding housing, I have a question that maybe you can answer. One post said that "no roommate assigned" means a single. That person also apparantly said their room assignment showed "A not A1 or A2". So, with that in mind, what does having BOTH "no roommate assigned" and "A1" indicate?
I see that your cousin went to Vandy and you are going to UVA; I'm deciding between both, can you give me your take on the situation.
Thanks a lotApril 2009
