Hi, bluebayou. On my UC app, I left my additional comments box blank, even though I have a disadvantage I should have put there. I called the UC system and they said I could still add info there. I was wondering if I could PM you my situation/disadvantage. I wasn't sure if it was okay to put on the UC app. I don't want the UC's to think I cannot contribute to the university because of my disadvantage. Any help would be really appreciated :).

Hi! I'm Yaswanth from India. I'm in my final year of graduation, from the beginning I had very good grades but during my first two years of graduation I lost my way and got many backlogs. But now I really working hard and doing great again. Hope I could come up with A's from now on. I'm sure I could get very good GRE and Toefl scores may be around 325/325+. I can tell everything the way I got those backlogs. It's like life's dream to get in to USC as I wanted to be an Enterpreneur. Do I stand a chance to get in to USC with those criteria? Do I need additional requirements? if so please let me know what should I do to have better chances. I just want to say about what USC to me and my ambitions and everything. SOP plays a very imp' role in admissions, how can I do better in that(how should I tell regarding poor academics got earlier and so..). I know it's kind of weird to ask, but I'm doing everything to get in. Please help me out in this.
    Regards

Pardon the intrusion. I have seen many of your post and thought I'd pose a quick question.

D has UC Davis Regents Scholarship, UCB, UCLA and UCSD. He is deciding between UC Davis and the perks Regents brings and Cal with its prestige. She is planning on going to Med School. Your thoughts? Thank you in advance.

HI, I saw that you posted on a topic about Cal Supplements. I received one today and I was wondering which one of the topics were most important. I received the talent supplement.

sorry, bceagle fan. I really don't have much insight into BC's finaid process. Our experience was that BC was the worst of the finaid offers. Just make sure you complete the documentation fully, and include any unusual items, such as high medical bills, private school tuition for sibling, financial support for grandparents, etc.

Dear bluebayou - I don't mean to take up too much of your time, but you seem very knowledgeable with BC financial aid. Do you know how to get more money from BC? I am in no way attempting to cheat the system. My parents and I have spent down greatly, buying new items this year, since next year is my last year in school. Any pointers, tips, or ideas, to get more grant money from BC?

Thanks again for your time and efforts

hi -- I go to Suzanne Miller -- she is tops. I have had 13 knee surgeries -- all before her and need a replacement now. I wish I had gone to her 1st.

Hi, just to let you know my S got the letter finally saying that he will not be taken off the list for Cornell. I think he's actually happy because he's happy to go to BC and so am I. Any word yet?
