It might be worthwhile contacting the TCNJ program director and asking about accreditation. I personally would feel better about attending an accredited program. I assume you've looked at the affordability of all the schools you are considering. Have you looked at Stony Brook?

Thank you very much for a quick response.
UPIIT is 6 hours from us and my husband and I think it is to far.
TCNJ has Biomed in 2 options: an electrical & mechanical.
    Both programs are ABET accredited:
Electrical Engineering, BSEE and Mechanical Engineering, BSME
ABET dose not show the Bioengineering BS in the list of TCNJ's accreditred programs.

SUNY Binghamton has accredited Bioengineering, BS

Does it make the Binghamton a more appropriate choice?

    Please advice.
    We are from NJ.
My daughter was accepted to biomed engineering at TCNJ, SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Geneseo(3+2), UPITT, Union College.
The price matters to us, but we would consider a higher price if that college would be more promising in finding the first job/better number of the potential salary.
We are still waiting to hear from Lafayette.
    Thank you.

Hello Again, Our son is getting ready to go to L & C, we are driving from CA next week to move him in. He is in Stewart dorm. Two questions: Do you know if the dorms all have a kitchenette with microwave? He has a mini-fridge but I would not like a microwave in the room, it would smell. Also, should he bring a computer printer? Should he lock his laptop to his desk? Thanks.

The flagships are Binghamton and Geneseo. Stony Brook would definitely be a safety.

Which SUNY school would you consider a good safety school for an ivy/top 20 student? Would SUNY Stonybrook be a good one? NY doesn't have a clear flagship school, unlike Virginia or California.

Still debating. She has a good scholarship offer from Lewis & Clark and another from Knox, as well as a small one from Kenyon. Still waiting on Carleton (her #1 choice) and Oberlin. L&C is her #2 choice so I'm feeling good.
