wrong date in APUSH DBQ?

I accidentally put the wrong date for a Supreme Court case in my DBQ. Does anyone know how much of a penalty that would be? I was not VERY far off but it was clearly not correct. I got it confused with another case. I feel very confident about the rest of my essays.

Thanks for your help.

Probably not a penalty at all. If you go through the collegeboard released sample essays, some of the commentary for the higher-scoring essays say "there is an incorrect fact in there but it does not detract from the overall quality of the essay" or something along those lines :)

Don't sweat it, AP Graders are trained to give points for what you do correctly, not take off for what you did wrong. They probably will just throw out the case entirely, so if it was an integral part of your argument, you might loose a point or two, but if it was just a supporting detail, you'll be fine. No reason why you can't score highly on the essay as a whole.
