Which AP Courses are you taking next year?

RivingtonRebelRivingtonRebel 5 replies1 discussions Forum Champion
Assuming that most of you have either registered for next year or have an idea of what you're going to take since the year is closing out, which courses and or tests will you take next year?

I'm an incoming junior and will be taking
- AP English Language
- AP Spanish Language
- AP Chemistry
- AP Psychology
- AP US History

I have a question that I think could be answered in this thread. I am taking the classes AP US Gov and AP Music Theory next year as well, but I don't really want to take the AP exams. They have no relation to what I want to go into, but I want to take the classes to show that I took the most challenging classes my school offers.

Do I pretty much have to take the Gov and Music Theory exams? Even though I'm going into physics? If I don't, how will that appear to colleges? (taking course but not exam)

@BurnOut: I believe colleges won't really care if you didn't take the exams, just do well on the ones you are taking. that's just my opinion

@SonofGod: I never understood how sophomores can already be in Calc. Did you skip algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and PreCalc?
    ...
I'll barely make it to take Calc AB my senior year, and that's considered advanced lol

Not exactly qualified to answer--these are the exams I just took/will take, not the ones I'll take next year, as I'll be graduating, but:
    AP Lit & Comp
    AP USGOPO
    AP Cal BC
    AP World
    AP Physics B

(Previously took APUSH, APEH, and Cal AB--all 5s)
